Julie Crichton, GreenPath’s Director of Talent and Employee Experience, has been selected as a 2022 Notable LGBTQ Leader in Business by Crain’s Detroit Business.
Award Methodology
The leaders featured in Crain’s Detroit Business 2022 Notable Leader program were selected from nominations by a team of Crain’s Detroit Business editors based on their career accomplishments, track record of success in the field and effectiveness of their efforts, as outlined in a detailed application form.
“I am honored to be selected as one of the Notable LGBTQ Leaders in the Detroit business community, along with other phenomenal professionals. My passion is lifting up not only the LGBTQ community but ensuring that all our employees feel safe and free to be their authentic selves. I am privileged to work for an organization such as GreenPath which is employee-centered, and truly cares for every employee as an individual – the best organization for which I’ve worked in my entire career.”
Julie Crichton
“As a leader of GreenPath’s Talent and Employee Experience, Julie’s efforts are vital to building a work culture that embraces inclusion, diversity, equity and access,” notes Kristen Holt, GreenPath President and CEO. “Julie embodies GreenPath’s commitment to fostering a culture that acknowledges and values all of our histories and life experiences, which results in better outcomes for those we serve.
The leaders on this list are change-agents, door-openers and role models, their peers and colleagues told Crain’s Detroit Business.
These leaders create safety and community where they live and work. They hire and mentor other LBGTQ people and help them succeed.
Many of the leaders on this year’s list said that coming out and being themselves at work has been a journey, reminding us that the gains made for LGBTQ equity have been expansive in a relatively short period of time — within the span of many of these professionals’ careers.
