GreenPath’s Danielle Crane, HR Executive of the Year

(FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – November 4, 2016) – GreenPath’s Danielle Crane, HR Executive of the Year! Danielle Crane, GreenPath Financial Wellness chief talent officer, was recently recognized by the American Society of Employers, as the Michigan HR Executive of the Year for 2016. She won for the category of health and human services organization (fewer than 500 Michigan employees.)

GreenPath Financial Wellness is a nationwide, non-profit financial counseling and education organization and has been empowering people to lead financially healthy lives since 1961.  Their financial experts partner with consumers to ease financial stress, manage debt, save for the future, make smart financial decisions, and achieve their financial goals.

Danielle, a resident of Beverly Hills, joined GreenPath in 2013, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and education, and organizational development. She is also responsible for workforce management and planning.  Danielle started on the talent acquisition side of HR, with more than 15 years of HR experience with non-profit and entrepreneurial organizations.

Danielle earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and English from Albion College, and a MBA from Walsh College.  She earned her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2008, which she maintains through continuing education and community outreach.  She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) at the national level, and also leads the College Relations Committee for the local Detroit chapter.

Danielle joins other 2016 category winners, including:

  • Adam Jeffries, Vice President of Human Resources, North America, Faurecia North America – Organizations with over 1,000 Michigan employees
  • Brenda Gallick, Director of Team Member Success, Billhighway – Organizations with fewer than 1,000 Michigan employees
  • Cynthia M. Glass, Ed.D., Vice President of Human Resources and Chief of Staff, Henry Ford College – Health and Human Services organizations with 500 or more Michigan employees
