Albert O. Horner GreenPath Financial Wellness Founder’s Fund was Albert O. Horner established by GreenPath Financial Wellness to honor Mr. Horner’s work. Today, over 60 years since it’s founding, GreenPath has become a national leader in financial wellness.

GreenPath was born out of the Michigan Credit Union League in 1962 as a budgeting and financial education service and was originally established as Credit Counseling Centers. GreenPath was one of the country’s first agencies that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved for financial counseling services.

GreenPath has since grown to become a national leader in financial wellness. Each year, GreenPath serves over 200,000 households on their journey towards financial health. We deliver personalized services to each client by understanding their unique sitation and providing relevant education. Our work today began with Mr. Horner’s vision: to change lives.
