GreenPath Receives Top Honors from Lighthouse Hunger Walk 2009
Lighthouse of Oakland County awards GreenPath top participation and fundraising
Farmington Hills, Mich., July 9, 2009 — GreenPath, Inc. is proud to announce that the company will receive top honors by Lighthouse of Oakland County for its participation in the charity’s Hunger Walk 2009 on Thursday, July 16 at a reception held at GreenPath in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
“Every day our counselors listen to the plights of so many families who are experiencing financial crises due to job loss or income reduction, so it’s no surprise that GreenPath employees would open their hearts to help families served by Lighthouse who desperately need food,” said Frank Kruse, director of operations for Bankruptcy Counseling and Education Services.
Rob Hirsch, project manager of Lighthouse of Oakland County, will be presenting GreenPath with the Top Fund Raising and Participation Awards at a reception on Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. held at GreenPath’s offices at 27555 Farmington Road Suite 200, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. More than 60 GreenPath employees walked in the Lighthouse Hunger Walk this past May and raised more than $5,200 through event sponsorship, pledges and fundraisers such as a pet of the year contest, bowl-a-thon and raffle drawings.
