GreenPath Credit Counselor Receives MSN Money’s Top Award
Saginaw resident, Tom Urbaniak, named Counselor of the Year
Farmington Hills, Mich., September 25, 2009 — GreenPath Debt Solutions is proud to announce that one of its credit counselors, Tom Urbaniak, was named MSN Money’s Counselor of the Year. Urbaniak, a counselor at GreenPath’s Saginaw branch office, was honored at an awards dinner during the recent National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) Annual Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C.
Urbaniak is one of over 300 devoted volunteers who answer consumer questions through MSN Money’s “Ask a Credit Counselor” message boards, hosted by the NFCC.
“Tom Urbaniak has excelled and shown an incredible degree of dedication to helping consumers. He has single-handedly answered over 775 posts this year. MSN Money and the NFCC have long been aware of his efforts. We not only thank Tom for his contributions, but the people who have received his competent advice thank him even more,” said Gail Cunningham, NFCC Vice President of Public Relations.
September also marks Tom Urbaniak’s 10 year anniversary as an employee of GreenPath. Urbaniak feels his job as a counselor is important “because people who are experiencing financial problems need to know all of their options so they can make the best, most informed decision for them.”
